Mini Review: Dear Martin
Such an intense and powerful book. It’s amazing how much detail is in this book, considering it is shorter. Stone discusses so many different issues around race and racial profiling.
Justyce is a young man, about to graduate high school, when he finds himself in so many serious situations where he never did anything wrong.
He struggles with who to date and what will make his mom happy. What will make him happy.
He finds solace in writing letters to Martin (MLK) and asking “What would Martin do?”
Definitely recommend, a great fiction book with lots of learning opportunities! Five easy stars!
