Lux and her boyfriend, Nico, are hired to sail two women to a deserted island. What a dream? Traveling to a remote island?

Reckless Girls is a slow burn, there is something eery going on and you can feel it from the start. But there is something so exciting about being on this deserted island. I loved the escapism and just wanted to travel on vacation.

I thought the last 75 pages were intriguing and exciting. Rachel Hawkins wrote The Wife Upstairs, as well a romance book - The Ex Hex (Erin Sterling). I have read all three and Reckless Girls is by far my favorite. I enjoyed being whisked away to an island and I can’t wait to see what Hawkins does next.

I was a little torn on rating this one, I don’t think it is a five star read but also not 4 - maybe 4.5?! What did you rate Reckless Girls?
